    Word form fields (Word 2002 /XP SP3)

(Edited by HansV to make URL clickable - see <!help=19>Help 19<!/help>)

Are Word form fields also known as "FILLIN" and "ASK" fields?

I'm researching something for our Word protected forms, and came across this microsoft article

    many thanks diana

Do you mean "forms" in the sense of forms created using controls from the Forms toolbar? If you open one of your forms and press Alt+F9 (you might need to unprotect), you can find out precisely which field codes you are using.

No, they are different animals. The form fields you insert from the Forms toolbar are FORMTEXT, FORMCHECKBOX and FORMDROPDOWN.
