    Charts (Access 2003/Windows XP)

    Hi All,
    I am looking for any books that go into making and editing Charts in Access. Does anyone have any surgestions?

    I don't know if there are book specifically about charts in Access. There are two different types of charts you can create:
    <UL><LI>Standard charts.
    The chart engine closely resembles that used in Excel, so books dealing with Excel charts will be useful. You can download a sample database in Access 97 format that demonstrates how to manipulate charts in VBA: Microsoft Access 97 Sample Graphs.
    <LI>Pivot charts.
    These charts are interactive and work only on forms, not on reports (although you can place a pivot chart subform on a report)[/list]

    Helen Feddema's book Microsoft Access 2002 Inside Out has a full chapter on pivot tables and charts, as well as some information on standard charts. I believe there is also an Access 2003 book with that title but a different author.
