Tab Control in a Form (XP/SP2)

I have several forms created in Excel. I now want to use the tab key to jump to the field for entry. Help!

Each Field has a label then a fillable, drop list or click option to complete the form. When I press the tab key the cursor goes to the direction preset by Excel (left, right, down,etc.). I want it to jump to the next field of entry to be completed by the user.

All fields that have entries have been noted in the Allow users to edit ranges. Document is protected.

What kind of form is this? Do you mean a userform created in the Visual Basic Editor, or a part of a worksheet?

The user form was created using the forms toolbar options all within a worksheet. No VB. Static form

As far as I know, you cannot use the tab key to move from one Forms tooolbar control to the other. The user must use the mouse.

If you create a userform in the Visual Basic Editor, you can set the tab order of the controls on the form.

This is a bit tricky and it requires some forethought.

Build the forms control in the order you want them to follow. That is if you have a First name textbox, and a Last name textbox, draw the First name textbox before the Last Name textbox. This is not absolutely necessary, but it will help.

Then for each control, check the Tab Index in the Properties of the object and set it to the sequence you want.

    Hope this helps.
