    Extraneous toolbar (IE 5.0)

    Hi,

My daughter has installed some Internet software. It has installed a new toolbar on my IE5 session ("Bonzi Buddy Web Compass")..

    Can I
.Get rid of it for myself?
.Give her a way of getting it back when she wants?

    TIA

Have you tried VIEW,TOOLBARS, CUSTOMIZE ? There are some options for which tool bars are visible.

Yep. First thing I tried. I can't find anything there, under any of the other view, toolbars options, or under View, Explorer Bar.

It was worth a try though. Thanks for the response.

There may be a unistall in the control panel a"dd and remove apps'.
or within the program there might be a unistall.
    Good luck,

Yahoo IM does the same thing, when I uninstalled it, the toolbar vanished...

I can't seem to find any other correlations... i'm sure it's just an ini setting or dll.. but I can't find it...
