Re: Mail Merge from Access (Access 2K/2003)

You can use Automation to start an instance of Word from Access and to initiate the mail merge with an SQL string that selects the appropriate record as data source.
You'll find an example in the text file attached to <post:=362,462>post 362,462</post:>.
See <post:=263,603>post 263,603</post:> for an example of constructing an SQL string that selects a record corresponding to the current record in the form.
In Word 2002 and 2003, you must set the subtype for the data source to Word 2000, otherwise the user will still be prompted to specify the data source. See <post:=375,939>post 375,939</post:> and <post:=376,450>post 376,450</post:>.

For a general introduction to Automation, see WendellB's tutorial Automation 101.

Stephen Lebans has developed a DLL that can be used to control the behaviour of the mouse wheel. It's free. The URL is http://www.lebans.com/mousewheelonoff.htm, but his website seems to be down at the moment.
