Does anyone know where the option to NOT play the track while it is being ripped into MP3 using Music Match Jukebox 10?

    Thanks a lot

    Hey Wassim:

I can provide some information but not sure how much help it will be. First of all, I am a user of MMJB PLUS v10. I do not have the Basic version, so the info may not be relevant... When I start up MMJB and put a disc into the optical drive, the music will begin to play automatically. At which time, I just click the players STOP button (easily seen in the screenshot below). Then I choose the "Copy from CD" (shown at the bottom left in the screenshot) option and begin the ripping. It doesn't play a sound while ripping and the ripping speed is awesome. An entire CD in just 3 or 4 minutes. I've got three screenshots (three separate posts) that may help.

FWIW, I recommend the PLUS version. I actually use WinAmp as my default player but I love the ripping ease that MMJB provides. The database (for your Library) in MM is also superior to WinAmp's.

The second screenshot shows a MMJB help window. Clearly, there is instructions for "Mute While Recording"... But, I'll be the first to tell you that even with the instructions, I could not locate the checkbox to turn this function on or off.

The third and final screenshot shows the Recorder Settings options. As you (and I) can see, there is not a checkbox for "MUTING'. I'll quit with the screenshots but assure you the "mute' option is not hidden under the three choices to the top-right: Tracks Directory..., Advanced..., and Delayed Record...
