Did you get the right version of Tweak UI? I notice there are two listed on this page. I downloaded the first one that had 147KB. It is an executable and all I had to do was click on it to begin the install. Someone will be around in the Lounge to help you if you do have the correct file and are still experiencing install problems. It is a neat little program that does a lot of helpful "stuff"!

Problems like this are usually related to DLL versions. In this case setup is complaining about the version of KERNEL32.DLL you have on your system. The latest version of TweakUI only works with Service Pack 1 or higher on XP... surely you're at least to SP1 by now?

Start -> Control Panel -> System -> General should tell you what you have in the way of operating systems and service packs. If it doesn't give a Service Pack, you don't have one applied (and can't get any updates via Windows Update...!)

Right-click on the My Computer icon on the desktop and select properties. This will bring up the System Properties window that John's screenshot displays. All your version and SP info is right there. I'm guessing that if you believe you have XP Pro version 2002 that you have no service packs installed. Do you use Microsoft's Update site ??
