Can someone please tell me or advise on literature that explain how to add mpg and wmv codecs to the default SUSE 10 installation?. Totem's help file is so unintuitive...and it seems that adding a little something requires hours of reading. Thanks in advance...

A comment made in the opening paragraph on this page says, "The most commonly used file format for audio playback (MP3) is still not free and therefore not included in openSUSE. So, you have to get it yourself, after installing openSUSE. This is not at all difficult. I don't know if any of this will help but about halfway down there is a topic heading MP3 support for XMMS that looks interesting. Maybe this isn't even what you are after but with the statement they made, it has to be included someplace in their instructions. Maybe someone else will have something better to offer if this doesn't help!
