Hi y'all

I have 2 pages with forms. One is a login page which collects a username and
password and one is a registration page which also collects a username and
password along with other information required for the registration.

The forms are reproduced below. How does IE know that it needs to save a
password for the login one but not for the registration one?

<h1>Login</h1>
<form action="/bb/login.php" method="post">
<table align="center" border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3">
<tr><td>Username:</td><td>
<input type="text" name="uname" maxlength="40" value="">
</td></tr>
<tr><td>Password:</td><td>
<input type="password" name="passwd" maxlength="50">
</td></tr>
<tr><td colspan="2" align="right">
<input type="submit" name="submit" value="Login">
</td></tr>
</table>
</form><h1>Register</h1><form action="/bb/register.php" method="post"><table
align="center" border="1" cellspacing="0"
cellpadding="3"><tr><td>Username*:</td><td><input type="text" name="uname"
maxlength="40"></td></tr><tr><td>Password*:</td><td><input type="password"
name="passwd" maxlength="50"></td></tr><tr><td>Confirm
Password*:</td><td><input type="password" name="passwd_again"
maxlength="50"></td></tr><tr><td>User type:</td><td><input type="text"
name="usertype" maxlength="100"></td></tr><tr><td>E-Mail*:</td><td><input
type="text" name="email"
maxlength="100"></td></tr><tr><td>Website:</td><td><input type="text"
name="website" maxlength="150"></td></tr><tr><td>Location</td><td><input
type="text" name="location" maxlength="150"></td></tr><tr><td>Show
E-Mail?</td><td><select name="show_email"><option value="1"
selected="selected">Yes</option><option
value="0">No</option></select></td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"
align="right"><input type="submit" name="submit" value="Sign
Up"></td></tr></table></form>

TIA
Regards
Paul
