Can't decrypt Windows encrypted folder (XP Pro SP2

I can no longer decrypt folder encrypted with Windows, i.e., Folder Properties/General tab[advanced button]/compresss or encrypt attributes.
I believe I know cause - just not cure.
I had to do a re-install of Win XP and I renamed my computer from Robert to Bob. I can log in as adminitrator for Robert or Bob but not BOTH. Data in the folder in question was entered before and after computer name change. Is there any other way to decrypt folder?
    Thanks in advance,

Re: Can't decrypt Windows encrypted folder (XP Pro SP2

If you can still access your encrypted folders from your old account (Robert), you can create a recovery agent to access encrypted folders from any other account (see, for example, Windows XP Pro: Using File Encryption for step-by-step instructions.

If you couldn't access your encrypted folders anymore from any account, consider them lost forever.
