    Headers (2000)

When making a header, I want to use the "&" symbol. This shows up in the header, but then when I close the header it does not show on the actual page and does not print. Why? Does excel not support this symbol? I tried it as a ANSI Character and it still did not work.

The ampersand (&) has special significance in Excel headers and footers, e.g & is used to included the worksheet name in header or footer. If you want "&" to appear as an actual character you need to type &&, which will result in & being included as a character in your header/footer.
