Excel Drop Down Box (Excel 2000)

Does anyone know if there is a way to create a drop-down box that refers to a range on another sheet?

I need to create a long pick list; however, when using Data > Validation > List, there not enough room to list the entire selection. I would like to create the list on another sheet, and use that as my selection.

    Thank you..Susan

If you name the range on the other sheet (ie. MyRange), then in the List Source box enter:

    =MyRange

Need help with this. I created a list on sheet2 and tried to set up a validtion list on sheet1. When I try to set the source to =myrange it says specified range cannot be found. I know I am doing something wrong or have left out a step. Help. Thank you.

That message says that you did not create the range name. On sheet2, select the list range. Select Name from the Insert meny, and then select Define from the fly out menu. Then type MyRange into the Name Box and click on the Add button, then the OK button. Now go to sheet1 and create the drop down list.
