    Adding Footer Totals (Access 2003)

I am a first time user, so I don't know if I am doing this right.
I want to add footer totals together to show a grand total or a Balance Due at the bottom. Is this possible?
Also I need to add footer totals together in a sub report and show the grand total on the other report.

    Hi,

You can add grand totals for reports by using the Report footer section. Just use a SUM function with the field you want to grand total.

Re: Adding Footer Totals (Access 2003)

    Hi,

What I am trying to do is add report footers in a sub report together to show a total of all the report footers in the sub report to the Report Footer on the main report.

    I hope that makes sense.

    Thanks,

    Mike

You can't set a field to a calculated value of a calculated value. You would have to use a DSum function and specify the arguments to get the total result or use an Over All summary on the specific field.
