    macros (Publisher 2003)

    1. I'm no macro genius. All I know is how to record keystrokes, which can be done easily in Word. Is there a way to transfer that macro into Publisher, as P. doesn't have that simple keystrokes macro creator?

    2. As I'm recording, I'd like to select TO the period with the keyboard (or to whatever character I wish). In ancient word processors I was able to do that but haven't found the trick in word or publisher.

    Thanks! <img src=/S/crossfingers.gif border=0 alt=crossfingers width=17 height=16>

Alhough you could copy a macro from Word to Publisher, it will probably fail to work in Publisher. As Jefferson noted in <post:=572,011>post 572,011</post:>, the objects, properties etc. available in Publisher VBA are not the same as those in Word VBA (although there is some overlap).
