Require a field to be filled out (2003)

One of our users is creating a form, and she wants one of the fields to be required. If the user tries to bypass the field, she wants an error message to pop up saying it's a required field. How can we do this?

Is this a form in a document?
If so, did she use form fields from the Forms toolbar, or controls from the Control Toolbox?
Or is this a userform created in the Visual Basic Editor?

Yes, the form is a document. She used the form fields in the Forms toolbar, not Visual Basic editor.

Some VBA is required for this. See Check for uncompleted form field on Graham Mayor's site.

Thank you. I will try that.
