    Pulling lots of data into Excel (2003)

    Not sure how I can do this; I have a list of 300 assets. We have an Access Database we create of all our assets. I am experimenting with Microsoft Query to see if I can extract the data fields for those 300 assets into an Excel ss for further work. In Access, I don't think I can build a query with that many items in it, correct? Thanks.

    I'm not sure what exactly you mean. A query in Access cannot have more than 255 columns, but an Excel worksheet has exactly 256 columns, no more (until Excel 2007 arrives). So transferring the data from Access to Excel will not allow you to work with 300 columns either. Neither Access nor Excel have problems with 300 rows (records).
