IF statement (Excel 2003)

I have the following formula in my spreadsheet at A125:

    =IF(A119>0,G110*H110,"")

I want to change the contents of A119 from numeric to alpha. Can someone please tell me what to replace >0 with, in order to produce the same result?

In other words, if A119 is blank, nothing will appear in A125. If, however, a word appears in A119, the calculation G110*H110 will be made.

    Thanks for your help.

    Re: IF statement (Excel 2003)

    Try

    =IF(A119="","",G110*H110)

(note the reversal of the logic), or

    =IF(A119<>"",G110*H110,"")

Thanks for your help Hans, just what I wanted, and it looks so simple when seen written down.

    Thanks again.
