Trapping Microsoft Word Closing (Office 2003)

Can anyone help .... please?

I need to identify where I can trap the application closing within VBA. I have tried AutoClose but no joy, not too sure whether I need to set up a class ... am stumbling around in the dark, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you want to execute some code when Word quits, put a macro named AutoExit in a module in your Normal.dot (AutoClose is for closing a document, not the entire application).

You could also create an event handler for the Quit event of the Application object; this is more complicated. Look up the Quit event of the Application object in the Word VBA help, and see <post:=117,390>post 117,390</post:>.
