    seeking form-creation software

A colleague has asked for help with migrating from Win98 to WinXP. He is using a 1991-vintage program called Delrina PerForm Pro for creating digital versions of various printed forms. One of his other colleagues has told him that PerForm Pro will not run under WinXP. I am skeptical, and will check for myself to see whether I can get it to run.

If it fails to run under WinXP, we will be looking for a more modern replacement for PerForm Pro. I've found a few likely candidates thru web searching, but wondered whether anybody here could recommend a replacement software? One vital requirement will be the ability to import the 1000-or-so forms that he has created using PerForm Pro.

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: seeking form-creation software

Delrina were bought by Symantec in 1995, who proceeded to break the company up and sell bits of it. The electronic forms division of Delrina was sold to a company called JetForm in 1996. JetForm in turn was bought by Adobe, and the electronic forms products were officially discontinued in 2004. That being after the release of Windows XP, I would expect that there's probably some Adobe software that can handle the old PerForm format in WinXP.

    Hope that helps

You can also look at Adobe 7 Pro. I create a lot of forms with the Adobe Design. Very easy to use as well
    Thanks John
