Changing Name style (2003)

I'm sure that this has been raised before. I have a spreadsheet sent to me with persons names presented as SIMPSON, Marg.
I need to change this to Marg Simpson.
Thanks for any assistance

Re: Changing Name style (2003)

Say that the names are in A1:A100.
If necessary, insert a blank column in column B.
In B1, enter the formula

=MID(A1,FIND(", ",A1)+2,100)&" "&PROPER(LEFT(A1,FIND(", ",A1)-1))

Fill down to B100, for example by double clicking the fill handle (the little black square in the lower right corner) of B1.
If you wish, you can use Copy, then Edit | Paste Special with the Values option to replace the formulas with their values.
