From Tom's Hardware:

Intel has offered a budget Pentium as part of its processor line-up for a little while now. With a simple modification, however, this CPU can outperform every top-of-the-line processor around.

Me personally, I'm not an overclocker, but after reading this in-depth article I may try it out. These days top of the line processors go for over $1,000USD and most people probably can't afford that kind of money for just 1 component in a computer. But with overclocking you can make the budget Pentium D 805 chip out perform ALL of them, for only $130USD!!!! It can be overclocked to 4.1 Ghz!*

* overclocking may reduce the life of your computer and some of its components
