    Resize large images (FF 1.5.0.3)

I have a local .htm file set as my "home page" when I start up FF. It consists essentially of a big .jpg file and a caption. I also have the option "Resize large images to fit in the browser window" checked. This seems to work when I visit web sites but does not work with my own local home page. Have I missed something, or is this a bug?

    Cheers,
    Regards,
    PaulB

I haven't tested carefully, because I don't use that setting, but I have read that it applies to direct URLs to image files, and does not apply to images in HTML pages. Have you found that to be the case?

<img src=/S/yep.gif border=0 alt=yep width=15 height=15> Spot on. The size of the image within an html page is set by the html (or css, or whatever) code written by the page's author. It's only when viewing the image directly that Firefox will give you the resizing option.

If at first you do succeed, you&#39;ve probably missed something.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I misinterpreted the meaning of the resizing option.
