VBA with Excel (Excel 2000)
Hi everybody <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>
I made a small VBA program that imports some data from an AS400 computer into excel and format it in some way.
The computer that runs excel is by itself a bit slow. I have put lots of lines as remark, with the apostrophe, because I have 2 versions of the same program to do different things and I wanted to be able to test the differences.
As far as the speed of execution go, do the lines that have been put as remark make the program go any slower even if it goes over these lines without really reading the line itself ?
I'm trying to have the Macro (program) run as fast as possible because of the slow computer.
Thanks in advance

The answer is No. This article is VERY interesting with regard to optimizing your code: <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.microsoft.com/officedev/articles/movs101.htm>http://www.microsoft.com/officedev/articles/movs101.htm</A>
