Calling up a Printers to choose from in a list box (Excel)

    Hello,

I am searching for a way that I can bring up a listbox which holds all the printers a user has on his or her desktop. Is there an API call to do this?

Why don't you show the built-in Print dialog?

    Application.Dialogs(xlDialogPrint).Show

Well People seem to be to lazy to do it am so I thought that it might be possible to have right on a worksheet, but if this requires an effort then The people will have to deal with not being so lazy

Re: Calling up a Printers to choose from in a list box (Excel)

I am going to do it the simple way and make a list in a range and have it refer to the list box and fill in the Activeprinter = listpick, this seems easier and the only down side is that it will have to be updated if a new printer is added,

    Question,

Is there a way to stop the list box from resizing everytime a click on a new entry?

ie will Format Control> Size > Lock Aspect ratio do this? (control tool box list box)

I notice a few options under the properties list. ie
Integral heigh = True 'maybe this should be false?

any other option known so stop the automatic resizing?

Does it help if you set IntegralHeight to False?
