    Customise top display caption (2003)

    Not sure what it's called (or else maybe I could look it up somewhere!), but does anybody know how to customise the "caption bar" at the top of the screen? I'm talking about the bar that says "Microsoft Excel - filename.xls".
    I'd like to add a version/release number at the end of the filename (of my workbook/application, not the version of Excel).
    TIA

    You can also change the text after the Microsoft Excel by using:

    application.ActiveWindow.Caption = ActiveWorbook.name & sVerNo

    Where sVerNo is a variable holding the workbook version and gotten from wherever you stored it.
