    web publishing (FrontPage 2000)

I'm trying to build web pages as a front end for an Access 2K database, but apparently I can't do this over a disk-based web. Is there any other software (HTML editor and/or DB) that would allow me to do this? I'm new to building webs, but I'm fairly good with DBs. If anyone knows a way to do this with FrontPage and Access that would be even better. FYI... this will run on NT workstations over an office shared network. Thanks.

I believe that without a webserver - you are stuck. The webserver would be creating the query submitted to the Access DB. If it is a disk based web - why not just a link to the Access DB?

one of the most important things a user would have to do is add records to the database and I don't think you can do that with a link.
