    Mystery para marks from loop (2003 SP2)

    I have a weird one. The following loop (the code is fcopied from Helen Feddema) collects email addresses ito one string, for bulk emailing. Somehow the loop places 2 line feeds at character 1024 for the variable strBCC. It doesn

    This is an artefact - the Immediate window breaks strings after 1023 characters. The variable strBCC itself doesn't contain line feeds.

    Well that certainly is a trap for young players. Brilliantly done Hans (as usual), zeroing in on it immediately.
    I thought that that would be the source of the main problem, guess not.
    The main problem is as follows. The code grabs 50 email addresses and sends them to a new Outlook message for a bulk email. This has worked flawlessly for nearly 4 years. However the user has just upgraded their server (I assume they are using Server 2003). Ever since that upgrade after the code opens Outlook at a new message, with all the addressees in the BCC field, they get the error

    It doesn't look like an Access problem then, but as an Exchange problem - perhaps a server setting has to be modified, but I cannot help with that.
