    Screen scraper (Access 2003 SP2)

I have used Jefferson's code to decode the webpage (http://www.iasbet.com/site/racing/racingmain.aspx), you have to go into the races to get a current race. I need to get the Opening Price, Fluc 1, Fluc 2, and Super Price.

They have changed their webpage, or rather what's behind it.

I don't know how to get the information I need.

    Patt

Given that you have not had any answers, can I say I have no idea what you are trying to do, nor what code of Jefferson's you currently use.

Maybe if you can clarify, somebody might be able to help.
    Regards
    John

    Hi John,
    I'll explain again.
I need to get the horses number and name as well as the Opening Odds, the 2 fluctuation Odds (Fluc 1 and Fluc 2), and the Super Win Odds.

I have included a source of the webpage.

    OK
Previously I was looking at the url you posted, and could not see this stuff. I did not realise you had to go on to another step.

When you say you want "to get the horses number and name as well as the Opening Odds, the 2 fluctuation Odds (Fluc 1 and Fluc 2), and the Super Win Odds", what do you want to do with them? Import them into an Access table.

Can you post the code you currently use. Presumably it would be easier to modify this than start from scratch? Or has the structure of the page changed totally?
    Regards
    John

The problem is that the page has totally changed.

I will just have to recode this completely.

I have done this for other sites, so i will just have to do it again here.

It's just a pity that there is no documentation on this in terms of an object model or whatever.

    Thanks for your concern.

    Have recoded it completely.

Just grabbed the innertext and parsed the data from that.

    All works well now.
