    clear Word print margins are too small msg (Word 2002 /XP SP3)

    In my Word document if the margins are small eg .4cm, and I send the document to the printer, the message is displayed "The margins of section 1 are set outside the printable area of the page. Do you want to continue?"

    These margins are fine and all the text prints out.

    Is there a way to not have this message displayed? Is it a setting, a reg setting? is it possible to clear this message using code?

    many thanks

    Hi Diana,

    You could try changing your printer's predefined page margins (eg, via the Control Panel).

    You could try using

    Application.DisplayAlerts = False

    though it's a command that (in my experience) doesn't always seem to work as expected.
