    Project resource availability (2002/3)

Can MS Project filter/report to locate excess resource capacity that could be siphoned off for other project assignments. It graphs over-allocations and availability as part of the resource graph and report who does what when as well. However I cannot find any way to search for this excess capacity in any other format. Any ideas or can you direct me to a search engine, web group or something perhaps.

You could go to the Resource Usage view and right click in the right pane and select Remaining Availability. The remaining availability is calculated based on the max units you set in the Resource Sheet.

I was looking around in Project for other ways to display Remianing Availbility toher than the Resource Usage view and if you right click the right pane of the Resource Graph you can also select to graph Remaining Availibility.
