    OL2000 tracking messages (OL2000 with Exchange server 5.5 sp4)

    .
One of our users is sending out a voting mail to dist list of 120 users and has tracking switched on. The tracking side of it stopped part way through the replies BUT he is still getting the mails that say "Fred
says yes" and "Bert says no". Is there a reason why the tracking
stopped showing all the replies he is getting ? Maybe there is a limit! All people in the dist list are the same.

You don't mention it in your posting, but could your colleague have moved the copy of the voting email from the Sent Items folder into another folder?
I believe Outlook only tracks responses if the copy of the original mail is left in Sent Items. Of course, each vote generates a new email, so they continue to arrive in Inbox.

assuming the original is still in the sent folder, they are pocessed when outlook is idle - or you can double click on each one and it'll force it to process.

if they aren't added to the tally then it's possible they are in plain text format. The replies need to be RTF for best results. Any coming in from the 'net are the most likely to be the wrong format.
