    text to speech (Excel 2002)

I'm puzzled (not an unusual state). Trying out text to speech, it seems that parentheses are not pronounced unless there is something after them. So here the open bracket doesn't get a mention, but the one after the zero does.

    =ROUND(D8/5,0)*5

What is going on? Surely a person with bad sight needs all the parentheses spoken for them?

Perhaps it is considered part of the "Round". Since it is a function, the equal and the beginning parenthesis is understood...

It might also just be a bug in it:
    =if(a1,b1,c1)

does not say the open/close parentheses or the commas.
