    Editing Subect Lines

In <post:=577,596>post 577,596</post:> I realize that I've missed a "t" off my subject line, (and drawn Don Wells into the mess, too).
It appears to be impossible to change the subject line.
I can see (when I click Edit) that the subject box is gray, but then, so it is now as I type in a subject line for a new post.

Could someone please confirm that this is so - that I'm not supposed to be able to edit a subject line for a post once posted?

    Thanks.

    Re: Editing Subect Lines

You should be able to edit the subject of a post after it has been posted, but the combined length of subject and application/version info may not exceed 50 characters. If you cannot edit the subject in FireFox, try Internet Explorer.

(If all else fails, I can edit the subject for you)

    Right. I know I'm vertically-challenged, but being linearly-challenged too is a double-whammy.
And in losing 20lbs this year I thought I was getting into shape!

    >>> And in losing 20lbs this year I thought I was getting into shape.... I'd say that is a step in the right direction...not into editing subject lines, but into editing abdominal lines.... <img src=/S/wink.gif border=0 alt=wink width=15 height=15>
