Bluetooth phone PIM to OL synchonise (OL2003 / Razr v3)

My new mobile phone, a Motorola Razr v3 has bluetooth, and works fine with file transfer to my laptop. I want to use the phone's calender function to make appointments, then transfer these to Outlook 2003, put calender items onto the phone also. I cant get the PIM sync function to.. er.. function. If anyone can confirm that this is either a) not possible or possible and how to do it, I will send them a personal smiley.

Have you tried exporting your Outlook calendar (File|Import and Export) into CSV or TAB format & then seeing whether Bluetooth can find it? HTH (My hardware is different from yours.)

This won't help much with BT, but I have a Moto E815, and I use the OEM USB-to-phone cable with Motorola's Mobile Phone Tools- UK sofware product (here is the US Motorola's Mobile Phone Tools ), for which IMO I paid too much - US$50, partly on the basis that BT wouldn't work for syncing. The phone toolkit syncs very well with Outlook. In the US it's available from a number of outlets - the store that sold me mine (face-to-face) had a VERY old version of the software - I had to walk through online upgrades for about 7 hours! (The cable also enables certain other things, and opens the door to hacking the phone - something I wouldn't know anything about <img src=/S/innocent.gif border=0 alt=innocent width=20 height=20>.)

The Howard Forums have a number of threads on phone syncing, including model-specific information, if you want to look there.

Thanks both of you. I will try out all these suggestions and let you know my progress.
