Compare Pivot Table Data Values (Excel 2000, SP3)

How does one compare the calculated values in a pivot from one row/column to the next?

I have a large amount of daily data I've consolidated by week or month, and I need to compare the average value of last week/month to the current week/month.

I've included a dummy spreadsheet with pivot table to help illustrate.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the Pivot Table Wizard, you can add the Value field another time, set the function to Average, then click Options >>.
Select "Difference from" or "% Difference from", choose Month as base field and (previous) as base item.
    See attached version.

I'm used to seeing you resolve questions day after day in the Access forum, Hans; you are truly multi-talented. Thanks (once again!) for your timely help.
