    Copy layout (2003)

I don't know if this is possible, but can I import a word document into a report to use the layout. I have to re-create a word document into a form, so I have all the tables and field names ready. It would be easier to set up control sizes if I had a template to work on.

As far as I know, you cannot use a Word document directly as template for an Access report.

You could use Insert | Object..., From File to put the Word document (or a screenshot of the Word document) in the Detail section of the report. Place the controls on top of it using the document layout as guide, and remove the document object when you're done.
