I have previously been able to search for items at the folder level in our public folders. (For example, I searched for a name at the third level of a three-level public folder that includes a dozen individual contact lists.) However, I know the admins in another city have been fiddling with the public folders...and now I suddenly can't search on the folder level; I have to go to the individual contact lists to do a search, which is tedious.

The people doing the fiddling didn't know (or seem to care) about the various search capabilities. But as this regional office's admin, I'd like to either restore the search capabilities at the public folder level or at least give the others a clue about what to look into that they may have done.

Can anyone offer assistance?
