    WXpHe starting problem (WXpHe IE6)

I have a peculiar problem on starting one of our pc's. On booting into either the administrator or other user account, the boot process stalls - as the desktop partially begins loading. Leaving everything alone for minutes does not help. On keying Alt+Ctrl+Delete the programme that is reported as not responding is Internet Explorer. After three or four re-sets the pc boots ok! This is inconvenient and I'd appreciate some help please.

Is there a shortcut to Internet Explorer in the Start MenuProgramsStartup folder of All Users?

    Hi Hans,
No, there isn't an entry in the Start MenuProgramsStartup folder of All Users.

I'd download and install the free utility Autoruns from SysInternals, and try to find out if there is anything that points to Internet Explorer.
