    Automated ?macro? (2003)

I currently have a db that users enter production quantities into. Once they have completed this they must push a button that runs a macro that uses the "TransferDatabase" action to copy the tables to duplicate db called ProdLink. ProdLink is accessed by some ASPs. I do this b/c there was an issue with someone entering data while someone else was looking at the ASP. What I am looking for is a way to have the "TransferDatabase" run at 2:00am, so that I someone forgets to run the update, it will always be current the next day.

    thanks,
    jackal

You can use the Windows scheduler to open the database and run a macro. You'll probably want to add the Quit action to the macro to close the database after TransferDatabase has run.

See (for example) <post:=540,438>post 540,438</post:> (for Access 2003, use Office11 in the path instead of Office10)

Thanks Hans, this seems to be a good fix for now.
