    Using pdf995 (2003 Sp2)

    (Edited by HansV to make URL clickable - see <!help=19>Help 19<!/help>)

    I've been using pdf995 for sometime and I would like to make a button on the reports toolbar to streamline the printing of the current report to PDF process. In the help file at "http://www.freeware995.com/misc/vbacode.txt" it says: "To create your pdf file, call the function pdfwrite "report name","report filter(may be "")","Path to put the
    pdf".

    How do I do this?

    Thanks
    Nick

    Copy the code from the help file you refer to into a module.
    Also put the following function into the module, and change the path as needed.

    Function Report2PDF()
    On Error GoTo ErrHandler
    pdfwrite Screen.ActiveReport.Name, "C:PDFfiles", ""
    Exit Sub
    ErrHandler:
    MsgBox Err.Description, vbExclamation
    End Sub

    Place a custom button on the toolbar, right-click it, select Properties, and set its On Action property to =Report2PDF()
