    Keeping Spaces

I'm not sure why, but sometimes when I have a space (between two words), when it is viewed (in a browser) the spaces disappear, and the words run together.

I tried * but it seems to (not always) work.

How can I forced space retention?

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

Can you describe the context? Are you writing HTML code or are you using a form that generates HTML code based on plain text? Does the problem vary with the font used or does it affect all fonts?

    Jefferson:

In the particular block (not any type of form) the attached is the code. I tried pasting it in, but for some reason the line that begins "Let your" is disappearing. Something in the WOPR template doesn't like it apparently.

    Anyway...

Note the space between the comma and 'will'. And yet, note lack of same in the attached.

You cannot post HTML code directly in the Lounge.

HTML ignores multiple spaces - whether you type 1, 3 or 37 spaces between two words, only 1 will be displayed. You can put text between <pre> and </pre> tags if you want to preserve spacing.

BTW, there *is* a space between the comma and "will" in the picture in your zip file.
