    Enable email links (2003 SP2)

Some emails arrive with their links turned off, and I must click the warning panel in message after message to enable them. These are links to Web pages. I can not find an option in Outlook to always enable links; is there one?

Hans, isn't that article about links to files? The OP is having trouble with links to web pages.

I thought it pertained to hyperlinks in general, but I may be mistaken. I can't check at the moment (I have Outlook 2002 at home).

Two possibilities - add Sender Domains to trusted Senders (if you trust them), and in Internet Explorer, Tools | Internet Options | Security set the Internet Zone to Medium if it isn't now.

Are you opening the message, or accessing the URL's from the Reading Pane? Is there a difference? Is Word your default Editor?

    Hans,

Thanks for this link. I have changed the Registry and will report on results, Monday.

    John,

Accessing from Reading Pane. Haven't tried after opening a message; will experiment. Word IS NOT my default Editor, after trying that option and being very disgruntled.

I have now checked on a machine with Outlook 2003, and you're correct. I don't have the registry setting and yet I can click links to websites without any warning.
