    How do I change the sound when I receive mail?

    Activate the Sounds and Audio Devices control panel (in Windows)
    Activate the Sounds tab.
    Click on "New Mail Notification" in the list of events.
    Select a sound from the Sounds dropdown list or click Browse to locate a sound file (*.wav)

    Thanks for your prompt reply, Hans. i forgot to mention I am running 2000, and when I go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, Sounds and Multimedia, I don't see any sounds associated with Outlook. Any help?
