    Error after update install (2003)

Hi all. Last week I (stupidly) installed the latest updates for MS Office 2003. Now, when I try to send a new email, a dialog pops up saying " Microsoft Word is set to be your email editor. However Word is unavailable, not installed, or not the same version as Outlook. The Outlook email editor will be used instead." After I click OK, another dialog pops up to advise me that "Your currents settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result the page may not display properly"

Nothing was changed by me, and I can't seem to resolve the problem. I've checked all of my security settings, macro stuff, etc., yet I can't find the answer. I'd be grateful if any of you could shed some light on this problem.

    Thanks, Joel

Thanks, John. I ultimately had to do a full repair to the Office install using the install disk. That solved the problem.

    I'm grateful for your help.
