    AddIns (Word 2000)

I have created a Normal-2.dot with custom toolbar buttons and personal toolbar. If I manually AddIn this template I get all the custom toolbar buttons. If I AddIn this template with a macro I only get the extra toolbar. The custom toolbar buttons do not show up. Why is this happening and how can I fix it. I've created the AddIn macro by recording key strokes.

Try putting Normal-2.dot in your Startup folder for Word. You can find the location of this folder in the File Locations tab of Tools | Options...
Next time you start Word, the template should be loaded automatically.

    Re: AddIns (Word 2000)

Adding the template to my Word Startup worked. I can now see the custom toolbar buttons. Is there a way to see the project. In the editor I get a message saying "The Project is not viewable".

If you want to view/edit the code, you must open the .dot file directly in Word (using File | Open)

    Thanks, both suggestions worked
