    Are you sure that nobody else is editing the data at the same time?

    Are you working directly in the (linked) table, or do you use a form? If the latter, does it contain VBA code that manipulates the data?

    No, no one else has access to the data, and I am editing the table directly. The table is OK when edited in Enterprise Manager

    Does the SQL table have a TIMESTAMP field? If not, try adding one - see the thread starting at <post:=556,923>post 556,923</post:> for some links about why that might help.
