    exit/close button (PP2003)

    Good morning

    Does anybody know of a way of putting an exit button on a powerpoint show, there is not a pre-defined action button that I can see.

    Any help appreciated

    You could create a macro that quits PowerPoint:

    Sub GetOut()
    Application.Quit
    End Sub

    Put a custom button on the slide, and select Slide Show | Action Settings...
    Select Macro, then GetOut.
    Click OK.

    Make sure that macro security is not set to High on the PC where the presentation is run.

    Actually, you can use a custom button:
    - Select Slide Show | Action Buttons | Action Button: Custom.
    - Click on the slide or drag a rectangle.
    - In the Action Settings dialog, select Hyperlink to, then select End Show from the dropdown.
    - Click OK.
    No code needed!
