Printing the first page on different paper (2002)

Is there a way when printing an entire workbook (9 worksheets in all) to have the first sheet/page pull paper from a different tray source from all of the rest, like Word lets you do with each section? I have about 700 workbooks to print and we would like to print the first page on a different colour paper so they are easier to separate. So far my experiments have failed to produce the desired result. Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, Excel VBA has no support for setting printer trays, so you'll probably have to resort to using Windows API code, more or less as was needed in Access before Access 2002.

Well, sometimes you get lucky - the HP9000 printer has a setting that is independent of software and let's you pull the first page from another tray in any print job. So my problem is solved, but not by Excel.

Yes, that is much more convenient than writing complicated code. <img src=/S/thumbup.gif border=0 alt=thumbup width=15 height=15>
