    Changing My Document Folder Names?

Is it possible to change the names of folders inside the documents and settings folder. Windows has given them really dumb names (eg Colin.VIRTUA-DM32E6V3). But if I try to change either the Adminstrator Folder or the All Users folder I get an error message that it's a system folder. And if I change my own folder (Colin.VIRTUA-DM32E6V3) to just 'Colin' then next time I log on Windows can't find it and creates a new one (with the original dumb name.
I'm reluctant to create another username as I've just managed to set things up nicely.

Any tips gratefully recieved, even if it's just 'live with it'

Not sure what the 'computer name' is but the system name is VIRTUA-DM32E6V3. Does that help.

Re: Changing My Document Folder Names?

What are your login account names?
Are you looking at these folders accross the network or on that local machine?
Do you have this same problem on any of the other machines that are on the P2P network?
    Are these folders "Shared" ?

If shared, this may be the problem, only the default and All users folder should be shared.

As for a "Computer name" each computre on the P2P network is given a name, and if you use the Network Wizard it will assign a werd name as you have listed.
