    2003 to 2002 (2003)

I'd like to return to Outlook 2002 from 2003. If I simply uninstall 2003 and install 2002, will my Contacts and other settings be configured into 2002? Thanks.

The "native" file format for an Outlook 2003 .pst file (the file that stores all your e-mails, appointments, contacts etc.) is not compatible with earlier versions. See Microsoft Office Assistance: Use an Outlook 2003 .pst with earlier versions of Outlook - it tells you how to check whether you have an Outlook 2003 format .pst file and how you can create an Outlook 97-2002 compatible .pst and fill it.

Thanks, Hans! I checked and my PSTs are 97-02. I should have mentioned that we use Exchange Server, and my Contacts and Calendars are on the server. AFAIK, those are compliant with 2003 and below.

If your contacts etc. are on Exchange Server, there should be no problems, I think.
